Jamie is invited to meet the new superintendent of the LAUSD, and he’s heartened by developments in the Season 2 conclusion. Later, he organizes a cooking competition for high-school students, with acclaimed chefs Jonathan Waxman and Michael Symon serving as judges.New leadership at the Los Angeles Unified School District sparks hope for the Revolution. Jamie is invited to meet with John Deasy, the incoming superintendent, and is heartened by developments. 

Meanwhile, Jamie also puts together a cooking competition with high school students who will be mentored by notable chefs, including himself, as well as Joseph Gillard, Eric Greenspan, Ben Ford, Evan Funke, Seth Greenburg, Amy Pressman and Suzanne Tracht, while the results are judged by Jonathan Waxman and Michael Symon. The winners' school will receive an amazing prize package presented by Jamie Lee Curtis. And Jamie revisits West Adams School to see how the seeds of change have literally sprouted into the school garden.
